The Business Office is committed to providing financial accountability and accurate accounting for the resources of the district. Major responsibilities include budgeting and auditing, accounting, timely financial reporting, payroll, purchasing/accounts payable, food service, facilities and student transportation.
Our key goals revolve around development and administration of the annual budget. Through this process we acknowledge the tremendous financial support the community has shown for the district. Decisions made in this process support the school district’s mission, “Opening the door to each child’s future.”

JOHN GAHAN

John Gahan has served as the Assistant Superintendent and Chief Financial Officer for the Pewaukee School District since February 2005. His career began in December 1992 as a Business Manager in suburban Milwaukee. He earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater in Finance with emphasis in Personal Financial Planning. His Masters Degree in School Business Management was also from UW-W. John and his wife have raised three children, living in the Pewaukee community since 2000. In his free time John enjoys traveling with family, hunting, fishing and engaging in community activities as a volunteer.
